Use the medicine on how often it is required, do not make your own doses. And if you have taken too much of what is being instructed, contact a poison control center. The medicine should not be shared with others. If you use other eye products, have an interval of 5 minutes before applying the said medicine.
Changes may occur after the daily use of the Bimatoprost 0.03%. Your eyelid and the colored part of your eye will become darker but this will return to its normal color after several weeks or months after you stop using it. However the colored part may remain darker. Those areas that you failed to blot with tissue of absorbent cloth might develop hair growth. You may notice the difference between the length, thickness, fullness, and color, number of eyelashes hair and the direction of the eyelashes growth but it will eventually fade away after you stop using the medicine.
As for every medicine, side effects are possible. If you feel any symptoms such as allergic reaction like skin rashes, itching and hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, changes in vision, swollen or infected eyes or eyelids report immediately to your doctor. There are other side effects that do not require immediate medical assistance. These are changes in the eye, eyelashes, or eyelid color, dry eyes, red itchy eyes. However if these persists and worsen, you must consult your doctor.
